T'is the season to be jolly
Tr'a la la la la .....
Fairy lights, table lamps, a heated awning and festive decorations kickstarted the party season with more than
50 people enjoying food and drinks with friends and neighbours at our annual Christmas party.
All profits went to Ashton Hayes Sports and Recreation Association to help maintain and enhance the Pavilion, field and playground.
What a great Christmas gift for the village and one that will keep on giving throughout the year to the benefit of all.
Our thanks to everyone who attended the party. We wish you and all our customers a very merry Christmas and hope to see you again very soon in the café.

Big Tea Party
in memory of Jo Cox MP
Way back in June more than 300 of us got together at the Pavilion Café to have a whole lotta fun and remember Jo Cox, the West Yorkshire MP who was murdered in her constituency on June 16, 2016. Although not intended to be a fundraiser, the event raised £600 thanks to the wonderful generosity of local people. The funds were shared between St John's Church, Ash-Worth Timebank and the Jo Cox Foundation.
It's great to know that we were among a staggering 9.3 million people throughout the country who honoured Jo's memory during more than 110,000 'Great Get Together' events over that unforgettable weekend in June.
The pictures here show our event, crowned by the magnificent marquee so generously loaned to us by Steve and Sarah Barker of marquee company Posh Frocks and Wellies which is based in our village. You can also see a moving video of more Great Get Together events here. It’ll warm your heart.

Macmillan Cancer Support
Local people turned out in force for cuppas and cakes at the Pavilion Café in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support, raising more than £550 for this amazing charity which does so much for so many.
We're grateful as always to our sensational bakers and volunteers without whom this fantastic result would not have been possible. We never take you for granted you lovely people. We only wish there were more of you so if you have a few hours to spare once or twice a month or even occasionally please, please get in touch with Jane Colville on 01829 752607 or email: janecolville1@gmail.com
