Something for all the family
The Pavilion Café, run by a group of volunteers as a sub-committee of Ashton Hayes Sports and Recreation Association (AHSRA), is sited on the award winning Queen Elizabeth II recreational field, a jewel in the crown of Ashton Hayes. It's a delightful place to enjoy quality time with family, friends and neighbours while children play just a stone's throw away on the safe, well designed playground. The field with its glorious views to the Welsh hills also boasts an adult outdoor gym, walking or running track and plenty of free parking.
Go on, treat yourself....
You can be assured of the warmest of welcomes in our disabled friendly community café along with hot and cold drinks, delicious homemade cakes and soups, scones and jam, toasties, ice creams and much more - all at competitive prices. The added bonus is that because we're staffed entirely by volunteers we're able to use any profit to help support the maintenance of the Pavilion, field and playground for the benefit of all who use them. As feelgood factors go that takes some beating.
SPECIAL EVENTS
The café has hosted a number of highly successful events including fundraisers for Macmillan Cancer Support, a tea party in memory of Jo Cox, the late MP for West Yorkshire, and Christmas celebrations.

The Pavilion may be hired for birthday parties, pop up events and other functions. Please see our Contact page.
VOLUNTEERS
We rely totally on our small army of volunteers to run the café and are constantly on the look out for new recruits including young people who are seeking experience in the catering sector.
